Welcome to my world!!

I think I have a great life - and I am so fortunate to be able to do so many things I love!!

Unfortunately - I have Fybromyalgia - so I don't always get to do the things I love to do! But - I really try to make the mot of every day and do something each day that makes me happy!!

I love spending time with my husband. I also love spending time with my children - unfortunately - they both live out-of-state so it's so hard to not be able to see them often!!

I love to paint - and especially enjoy painting landscapes with oils! I have my easel set up in my office at home and try to paint every few days! I'm just learning - and love to watch Bob Ross on T.V. I learned watching his shows - and started watching them in about 1985!! I remember watching him paint while I was rocking my son to sleep. Brad is now 23 years old!! Wow - time flies!

There are so many other things I enjoy - and I will update this later - as I can't type for very long or else my neck starts hurting really bad!!

So for now - I'm going to sign off!!

As I sit here adding pictures of Natalie and Peyton's visit - I am so sad because I really miss them and wish they could come back - soon!!

I want my children and grandson to live near me! I hate it that I can't see them every day! I want to be part of their everyday life - or at least whenever I can!

I enjoyed having Natalie and Peyton so much - getting up each morning to feed Peyton - he was so sweet each morning - always smiling in his little bed - and then watching him take his bottle! I loved bath time - and of course play time!!

I really enjoyed taking Natalie around showing her off our area where we live! There was so much to see and do - and just not enough time to do it all!! I wish they lived here - so we could all do stuff together! I guarantee - we would never be bored!!

Just for today!

Natalie and Peyton will be here in less then 2 weeks!!

I can't wait! I hope that Natalie loves it here - and I can convince her to convince Brad to move here when he gets out of the Marine Corp.!!

I would love to have them here - to be close to my grandson - and to just have fun! I know without any doubts that they would like it here -there is soo much to do!

I hope that my family and friends can come for a visit too! I still want to drive over to Forks, WA to see where Twilight was filmed!!

Mother's Day 2009

Hi All!

I just wanted to update my blog!

I had the best Mother's Day! My husband Dave really made it special - the entire weekend! He wouldn't let me do anything all weekend long. He took me out for dinner on Saturday night to Red Lobster. Then we went to Old Town Silverdale - and walked out on the pier - and then along the water. It was a very nice evening and I love spending time with my incredible husband, Dave!! We came home and watched the movie "Yes Man"! It was a very, very enjoyable day!

On Mother’s Day Brad, Natalie and Brianna called me! That really made my day! I only wish I could have seen them - but that's hard because they all live out-of-state! I miss them all so much!!

I was so happy when Matthew came over Saturday night (he had to work on Mother's Day). Diana come over on Mother's Day - it's always good to see her - she's in college all the way across the state at Washington State University. She is doing great and we are very proud of her! Alan came home that evening and of course we are always relieved when he gets back home safe!

Dave really went out of his way to make the entire weekend special. He got me several gifts - which I love very much. I love him so much and I am so blessed to have him as my husband!!I hope you all had a great Mother's Day! Thanks for stopping by!!

Thursday, April 9th

Well, it's less then a week before Natalie and Peyton arrive! I have been very busy preparing for their visit! I just wish that Brad could come along - but understand that he doesn't have time off available.

Brad is busy training Marines to go to war!! I pray for him - and all the Marines who are preparing to go - and those who are already there.

I can't wait for our visit with Natalie and Peyton. Dave and I have been thinking about fun things to do with them. I hope Natalie loves it here - and could convince Brad to move here when he gets out of the Marines (in June!).

I hope everyone is doing good today - and please - make the most of the day!!

Just For Today!

As I sit here waiting for my husband to get home, I think about how lucky I am to be married to the most amazing man! I look forward every day for him to get home so we can spend time together! I think this is one of my favorite things in all the world to do!

I am also so blessed to have my incredible children, and two of the sweetest grandson's who ever were born! I love you all so much!!

My prayer is that all of you have a wonderful spouse and beautiful, healthy children and grandchildren! Count your blessings!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful evening with those you love!!

My Paintings

I love to paint!! I am still learning - I've just been doing it for about 2 months. I use the same technique as Bob Ross. I have watched his shows since about 1986 - and that is the way I learned. I still watch his shows - and am very sorry that he passed away and isn't still painting! I guess he is in heaven right now - painting the "Streets of Gold"!

I will post pictures of some of my paintings - but please keep in mind - the colors on the pictures aren't what the painting look like in real life!
