My Dad
Today would have been my Dad's 76th Birthday. I miss him so much! He was the best Dad I could have ever hoped for and I am so grateful to be his daughter. I hope he is looking down from heaven and smiling! This was a picture of my Dad and Uncle Kenny. Dad always loved his time with his family! He always was thinking about us long before himself. Thank you Dad for a wonderful childhood! I just wish you were still with us and making us all laugh! I love you with all my heart!!

I am married to my wonderful husband Dave! We love spending time together and we live in one of the prettiest places in the U.S.! I have a son who is a U.S. Marine and I am so very proud of him! He is married to Natalie - my wonderful Daughter-in-love!! They gave me my first grandchild - a grandson - Peyton in November of '08! He is so beautiful and I love him so much!! Then we were blessed with another beautiful grandson, Jacob! They are both the sweetest little boys!! I love being their Nana!! I have a daughter Brianna who is married to Jordan and living in Germany! I miss her so much and can't wait to see her! I am very proud of her as well! She is so beautiful and I hope that she will always be happy!

Welcome to my world!!

I think I have a great life - and I am so fortunate to be able to do so many things I love!!

Unfortunately - I have Fybromyalgia - so I don't always get to do the things I love to do! But - I really try to make the mot of every day and do something each day that makes me happy!!

I love spending time with my husband. I also love spending time with my children - unfortunately - they both live out-of-state so it's so hard to not be able to see them often!!

I love to paint - and especially enjoy painting landscapes with oils! I have my easel set up in my office at home and try to paint every few days! I'm just learning - and love to watch Bob Ross on T.V. I learned watching his shows - and started watching them in about 1985!! I remember watching him paint while I was rocking my son to sleep. Brad is now 23 years old!! Wow - time flies!

There are so many other things I enjoy - and I will update this later - as I can't type for very long or else my neck starts hurting really bad!!

So for now - I'm going to sign off!!

I'm sorry I don't keep up with my blog - and those of my family and friens like I would like to! We have been so busy - and of course I fell off a ladder in our master bathroom and really hurt myself! It's been almost 3 weeks and my ankles are still hurting - swelling - bruising, etc., etc.!

I love hearing about you - and Reda had a great idea - Recipes!!

I have a great one to share! I will post it!

As I sit here adding pictures of Natalie and Peyton's visit - I am so sad because I really miss them and wish they could come back - soon!!

I want my children and grandson to live near me! I hate it that I can't see them every day! I want to be part of their everyday life - or at least whenever I can!

I enjoyed having Natalie and Peyton so much - getting up each morning to feed Peyton - he was so sweet each morning - always smiling in his little bed - and then watching him take his bottle! I loved bath time - and of course play time!!

I really enjoyed taking Natalie around showing her off our area where we live! There was so much to see and do - and just not enough time to do it all!! I wish they lived here - so we could all do stuff together! I guarantee - we would never be bored!!

Just for today!

Natalie and Peyton will be here in less then 2 weeks!!

I can't wait! I hope that Natalie loves it here - and I can convince her to convince Brad to move here when he gets out of the Marine Corp.!!

I would love to have them here - to be close to my grandson - and to just have fun! I know without any doubts that they would like it here -there is soo much to do!

I hope that my family and friends can come for a visit too! I still want to drive over to Forks, WA to see where Twilight was filmed!!

Thursday, April 9th

Well, it's less then a week before Natalie and Peyton arrive! I have been very busy preparing for their visit! I just wish that Brad could come along - but understand that he doesn't have time off available.

Brad is busy training Marines to go to war!! I pray for him - and all the Marines who are preparing to go - and those who are already there.

I can't wait for our visit with Natalie and Peyton. Dave and I have been thinking about fun things to do with them. I hope Natalie loves it here - and could convince Brad to move here when he gets out of the Marines (in June!).

I hope everyone is doing good today - and please - make the most of the day!!

My Wonderful Husband Dave! I got his this Gordie Howe Jersey for Father's Day! He loves it and we both love the Redwings!! Too bad the officials were so bad during the Stanley Cup Series!! I know without a doubt the Wing's should have won the Cup! But. . . . No one can look better in a Redwings Jersey then my husband Dave!! I love you baby!!
